The Insurance Law Collection at the UConn Law Library is the largest repository of insurance law materials at any academic institution in the United States. This comprehensive collection supports sophisticated faculty and student scholarship and serves the information needs of researchers throughout the world. Popular publications are available in both print and electronic formats, along with research guides created by UConn Law librarians.
The collection is particularly known for its growing repository of international and historical materials. Working with librarians and archivists responsible for Hartford's many public and private insurance collections, the Insurance Law Center has identified and consolidated historically significant insurance materials for preservation and use. These include treatises, case law studies, periodicals, insurance industry publications and materials and insurance-related fiction.
